**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for inventory-related projects.
- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices, including inventory control, optimization, and accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline inventory management processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehousing, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless inventory operations.
- Inventory Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels, trends, and variances to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory, negotiate contracts, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory management, such as stockouts, overstocking, and obsolete inventory.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management and provide regular reports to management on project progress and performance. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to inventory management, including inventory valuation and financial reporting requirements.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Job Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement field.
- Preferably, a bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
- Additional certifications in procurement management or supply chain are an advantage.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
- Ability to analyze data, assess costs, and make informed decisions based on financial and market analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders effectively.
- Capability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Being meticulous in evaluating supplier capabilities, assessing quality, and ensuring compliance.
