Overview:
Our team of Budget Analysts play a crucial role in the clinical trial process.
Working globally, you will collaborate with colleagues from Project Management, Contracts and Proposals to successfully build and advise on investigator site budgets.
This is also an excellent opportunity to gain new responsibilities, and become a key player in support of the Accounting, Commercial Finance, and Clinical Delivery spaces during a period of growth within a large global organization.
**Responsibilities**:
Read and correctly interpret the clinical trial protocol to analyze the required site activities
Use internal pricing tools and fair market value systems to build investigator site budgets
Interact with and advise the client on fair market values, and ensure adherence to anti-bribery and anti-corruption regulation to mitigate risks
- Provide expert guidance to ICON colleagues and external clients, regarding fair market value fees for research related procedures/non-procedures and general investigator site budget formatting.
- Prepare communication materials/ payment data for internal/ external clients relating to investigator budget pricing /reporting as appropriate.
- To escalate pricing issues & delays appropriately.
- To set up, organize and maintain investigator budget pricing and supporting documentation as appropriate.
- Liaise with Business Development department to establish and provide required investigator fee estimates for inclusion in final RFP bid grid
Qualifications:
You will need:
- Minimum 1, or 2 years' experience preferred in Investigative Analysis or Payments.
- Experience in Pharma / Clinical Trial related background (can also be from a healthcare related work background or budget preparation).
- Can demonstrate effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Have intermediate experience in Excel and can use it comfortably.
(Pivot Tables, V- Lookups, Sum-ifs, Formatting etc.)
- Bachelor´s Degree in life sciences
- English for Reading / Writing and Speaking.
Some key skills we are seeking include:
- Previous experience in creating and negotiating site budgets (with sponsor and/or sites)
- An understanding of the procedures of investigator sites
- Ability to read and understand clinical protocols
- High attention to detail
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and professional attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
