.INVESTMENT OFFICER (Full time; 40 hours; Ciudad de Mexico, MexicoOikocredit's Country Office Mexico is looking for an Investment Officer (40 hours) to be based in Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico.
The Investment Officer is part of Hub for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and reports to the Investment Manager.The Investment Officer will work with internal and external experts as required in the best interests of our partners and Oikocredit.
He/she will act as a second relationship manager, translating market developments and client needs into opportunities to create impact and do business.
Although specialised in a specific sector, the Investment Officer is conversant with Oikocredit's strategy, sectors and its products & services.The Investment Officer responsibilities include:Support: Building, maintaining and monitoring a portfolio of investments in one or more countries in the region in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean with a focus on Mexico.Focusing on commercial activities and working closely together with specialists at regional levelCo responsibility for the country´s portfolio performance and quality check of new proposalsIdentifying the needs and opportunities that would benefit from the financial resources made available by OikocreditCo responsibility for maintaining the local networks; representing Oikocreditat conferences and eventsSupport the due diligence and preparing EPTs, supporting the closing of deals and disbursements, monitoring and supporting capacity building projects.
