Primary responsibilities include invoicing & invoice reporting supporting the Oil & Gas and Power Generation business units, and to act as a liaison between Finance & Business Management support.Key Responsibilities:- Works with selected financial systems (Baan 5c and Infor LN), interpreting and adhering to corporate general accounting practices and procedures- Issuing customer sales invoices from Baan 5c and Infor LN, related to Oil & Gas and Power Generation business units across multiple Legal Entities- Analysis of Customer Contracts for invoicing, include project maintenance to ensure invoice accuracy internally and in Salesforce- Acting as strong liaison between Finance & Business Management, working with Project Managers to resolve questions and inquiries related to daily operational issues- Create & distribute invoice reporting to Business Management for invoice forecasting & invoice variances- Manage COE (Center of Excellence) & PwC audit requests specific to invoicing SoX controls- Manage international statutory reporting audit requests specific to invoicing controls- Able to understand end-to-end invoicing cycle to determine process improvements and eliminate grief- Maintaining process documentation for Invoicing Cycle- Invoice Back Log Analysis- Assist management in special projects & ad-hoc requestsExperience and requirements:- Bachelor degree in Accounting- 2+ years' accounting experience, preferably within Accounts Receivable activities- Able to understand and communicate in English language- Team oriented and able to work closely and effectively with internal and external customers- Medium to Expert level proficiency with Microsoft ExcelPreferred:- Customer Invoicing experience- ERP system experience (Baan 5c & Infor LN would be a plus)Posting Dates:August 28, 2024 - September 3, 2024Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
