**Job Description**:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile App UI/UX Designer/Developer to lead the overhaul and conversion of our existing locator app from Xamarin to iOS. The app serves as a critical tool for security workers and nursing home staff to raise alerts, with the alarms integrating into a larger monitoring system. As part of our development team, you will play a key role in improving the user interface and user experience, ensuring seamless functionality across multiple languages and devices.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the redesign and conversion process from Xamarin to iOS, focusing on improving UI/UX design and usability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and requirements for the app.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to visualize and communicate design ideas.
- Implement designs into functional iOS app screens while ensuring compatibility with existing API calls.
- Optimize app performance and responsiveness for various devices and screen sizes.
- Work closely with the development team (using.Net) to integrate UI/UX designs into the app.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback for iterative improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in mobile app design and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience designing and developing mobile apps for iOS platforms, with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills.
- Proficiency in UI design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
- Experience with Xamarin and/or iOS development frameworks (Swift, SwiftUI).
- Familiarity with API integration and understanding of backend systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive user interfaces.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
