Job Description Assure that team members are performing their primary job duties by providing them with directions on productive work methods, task assignments, problem resolution and ongoing support to allow team members to directly perform their assigned duties.
Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct new employee training (on the job and to department SOP, DOP, and WI's).
Determine daily workload to prioritize across the team, based on Production shortages, NPI needs to ensure deliverables are met.
On a quarterly basis audit employee performance, compare defined standard times to the actual time to complete IQC defined tasks.
Conduct IQC Cycle Counts as needed, lead the department's Physical Inventories.
On a daily basis, track, analyze, and present status of IQC backlogs to production, purchasing, quality and the supplier development groups. Track recurring issues and escalate as needed to achieve root cause corrective action Generate and maintain the monthly and quarterly quality and manufacturing scorecards reports.
Interfacing on a daily basis with various departments to provide IQC status to seek closure on pending items.
Working with equipment custodians determine the RPN for OOT equipment and facilitate the root cause and corrective actions for OOT equipment.
Generate publish reports to various departments; IQC backlog, FAIRs report.
On a daily basis, review and provide status of manufacturing and NPI shortages reports and assign personnel as required to rectify.
Track and maintain department overtime and assign overtime work.
Record and track Lean Score Card metrics Facilitate internal requests for communicating and assigning standard-routine tasks to IQC and communicate the results back to the requestor.
Performs any other projects or duties that may be assigned.
Ability to create Inspection Plans and release them in 1Factory, based on required incoming inspection specifications.
Lead or participates on Continuous Improvement projects, kaizen or just do it events.
Works with Receiving to fix SAP transactions/Incoming problem lots and Stocking Location issues.
Participates validation of applicable software/applications for business system testing.
(UAT) Ability to communicate with Engineers, buyers and suppliers on inspection/documentation issues.
Qualifications 3-5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Previous work experience in Manufacturing, Production Planning or as a Coordinator for a highly complex, low volume OEM manufacturer is desirable. Knowledge of GMP and previous work experience in a medical company are a plus. Requires understanding of ERP Information Systems, preferably SAP, AGILE.
Mechanical Drawing interpretation.
Knowledge on GD&T metrology concepts.
Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Experience in medical device industry.
