As an IS Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple cross-functional and cross-cultural programs/projects, ensuring co-ordination, resource management, stakeholder/sponsor communications, reporting and financial management ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with ABB Information Systems Enterprise Architecture and the ABB Information Systems Guidelines and Directives.You will play a vital role in driving the successful execution of digital and transformational IS programs/project approved by the IS leadership team and which are deemed critical to IS and ABB success.
Your responsibilitiesManaging and leading (virtual) team of highly effective IS professionals in a cross-cultural environment.Ensure the delivery of activities utilizing internal IS delivery units as well as external 3rd party suppliers.Close adherence delivering high quality IS solutions that are compliant with all applicable ABB Regulations and ABB Group Guidelines and policies.Define and manage organization and services governance, aligning responsibilities and accountabilities with internal and external stakeholders. Execute, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACI specification. Defines and manages the metrics needed to deliver strategic initiatives.As part of project management, manage executive stakeholders across multiple divisions and act as advisor and guide to the IS organization, business functions and delivering partners.Assures stakeholders' satisfaction through a strong governance and proactive effective communication.Manages dependencies and resolves conflicts to other ABB departments, functional areas, and cross-organization dependencies.Deliver projects with high quality in alignment with budget and timeline expectations.Driving customer service to ensure satisfaction with Information Systems services, closing any gaps, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of Information Systems services.Your backgroundBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology or related field.5 – 7 years of experience leading IS projects (ERP, Infrastructure, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Software Deployment, etc.).Project Management/Change Management certifications (e.g. Prosci, ITIL, PMP.
