**Your role and responsibilities**:
As a Technical Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing global Automation Platform and related service and oversee other technical platform services in Americas regions to manage the customer demands and escalations. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the IS Services business area in San Luis Potosi, Mexico You will be mainly accountable for: - Take full ownership of the Infrastructure Automation service utilizing Red Hat Ansible, ensuring seamless integration with ServiceNow, public cloud environments, and on-premises infrastruc-tures. - Serve as the primary escalation contact for technical platform services in the Americas, includ-ing Ansible, Directory Services (Active Directory, Entra ID), DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and others. - Work in partnership with the Architecture and Core Platform teams to define the technology roadmap and establish best practices for platform engineering. - Proactively manage customer needs and advocate for core services that drive business value creation. - Identify opportunities to enhance Domain Service delivery and lead initiatives within relevant service teams to optimize operational efficiency. - Support the management and continuous improvement of service delivery processes for the respective platform services.
**Qualifications for the role**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with over 10 years of hands-on experience in large-scale IT infrastructure services.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions, particularly Red Hat Ansible, and a strong understanding of automation practices to enhance deployment efficiency. Knowledge of automated testing, linting, and static code analysis is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Git, including experience with branching, merging, rebasing, and conflict resolution. Familiarity with Git workflows, such as Git Flow or GitHub Flow, is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with development, operations, and security teams, with strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration across different functions.
- Familiarity with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and an under-standing of how to integrate cloud-native services into a GitOps workflow.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, YAML, or Python for automation tasks.
- Proven experience in managing a global team and supporting global customers, with a strong ability to lead and mentor.
