Supervise a team of individual contributors who are manufacturing Honeywell's world class innovative products. You will leverage your manufacturing experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented production employees. Through collaboration with cross functional teams, you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out the manufacturing plan / schedule to meet production requirements.
- Monitor production to ensure quality products are being produced in a timely, efficient
and cost-effective manner based on quality guidelines and production goals.
- Track and report trends on a daily, weekly, and or monthly basis from production,
quality, and efficiency measures.
- Must be able to analyze data and make recommendations for improvements and assists in implementation of solutions to resolve issues and improve bottom line results.
- Make personnel headcount adjustments as needed based on production workload
requirements.
- Provide performance planning, career planning, coaching and feedback to subordinates
- Manage vacations, attrition and absenteeism of subordinates.
- Acquire familiarity with relevant Company policies and procedures. Administer and
enforces Company policies under guidance from Plant Manager and Human
Resources.
- Enforce company safety regulations.
- Assist with solving manufacturing and quality problems that interfere with planned
schedules. Requires constant reassessment and adjustment of personnel, tooling,
line layout/setup, and training.
- Inform and instruct manufacturing employees in the performance of their
responsibilities. Verbally coach and counsel individual operators as necessary based
on non-compliance with established policies, procedures, or work instructions.
- Conduct meetings with manufacturing personnel to effectively communicate
management plans and programs.
- Assist with trainings to employees to effectively perform assigned tasks.
- Other related tasks as required.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
- English proficiency of minimum 80%
- Desirable Engineering Degree such as: Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical
- Relevant experience of manufacturing operations and leadership experience (at least 5 years)
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) / DLE (Direct Labor Efficiency) calculations
- Financial Metrics - Revenue, Labor Productivity
- People manager experience (up to 100 people)
