The role of the IT Analyst - Project and Change Coordinator (R&D IT) is two-fold:- Project Coordinator (50%) - responsible for planning, executing, and closing internally facing projects, efforts, and activities (simple to basic complexity) within and supporting Alcon's R&D IT department. The primary goal is to ensure that projects are smoothly executed, completed on time, within budget, and meet project/effort objectives.Responsibilities: Change Coordinator- Maintain and execute a change management process that ensures timely, effective, and high-quality changes- Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to understand the business requirements for changes and ensure they are delivered accordingly- Develop and maintain documentation for change requests, approvals, and implementations- Coordinate testing and approval of changes with relevant stakeholders, including business users and IT teams- Ensure that changes are implemented with mínimal disruption to business operations- Monitor and report on the success of changes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing remedial actions as required- Manage the communication of changes to relevant stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and management- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in change management, and implement them where appropriate.Responsibilities: Project CoordinatorDevelop project plans and timelines, track progress, and provide status updates to stakeholders. Coordinate project meetings and communicate project status to team members and stakeholders. Monitoring project budgets and expenses to ensure they are within budget constraints. Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and decision-making. Coordinate project documentation and ensuring that project files are up-to-date and organized. Develop project reports, presentations, and other communications materials. Identify project risks and issues and escalate them to the IT Lead Analyst for resolution. Support the IT Lead Analyst and project teams in problem-solving and decision-making activities. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure project alignment with broader IT strategies and initiatives.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field- 3-6 years of relevant IT experience- Basic knowledge of software development and deployment processes- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously- Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques- Experience with change management tools and techniques- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
