.Overview:The **IT BI Business Analyst** provides companywide strategic, analytical and technical support for business intelligence (BI) activities.The**Location**: Monterrey, N.L.
**Responsibilities**:- Partners with stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document business requirements; translates non-technical requirements into technical business requirements.- Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to define and document business requirements for new metrics and reports.- Uses current knowledge of business and technology to recommend system solutions and process improvements.- Support prototyping by creating reports to validate business requirements.- Assist users with the creation of requirements, access to platforms, service now tickets or ad hoc reports.- Partner with business users to plan, conduct, get approval on user acceptance testing.- Has a solid understanding of overall business and corporate objectives and works under broad project direction with the ability to self-define specific tasks.- Interfaces directly with senior management where required.- Takes a "hands on" approach to project work and is adaptable in terms of style and activities undertaken.- Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, and works with customers to uncover unmet business needs.- Keeps oversight and control of Change Requests impacting BI solutions to understand business requirements and track/update its status.Qualifications:- Bachelor Degree required in Administration, IT or related fields is required.- Availability to travel internationally for business purposes.- +3 Years of experience managing data, analytics and being involved in business IT projects.- Fluent in English.
