BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join IT Business Relationship Manager at our SLP PDS Plant in Mexico.
In this role, and under direct supervision of the Sr. IT Manager, the IT Business Relationship Manage is the single point of contact for all IT related business needs at the plant. This person works with a highly matrixed and global IT organization to deliver the business requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable to the business for overall IT delivery
- Responsible for Information Technology projects (from conception to completion), for a broad range of Information Technology initiatives, for setting priorities and delivering quality solutions to support BorgWarner's business
- Establishes and maintains positive business and IT relationships, to ensure alignment with business priorities and business alignment with IT standards
- Applies technical and relationship skills to manage area of responsibility
- Manage expectations and communication with business stakeholders
- Providing an approach to business/technology opportunities as well as a detailed, methodical approach to system changes
- Make recommendations with financial impact in mind
- Implement process improvements, policies, and best practices.
- Manages local budget and cost effectiveness of their area of responsibility
- Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, directing, and coordinating resources and activities to meet business requirements and project completion dates
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or other related technical degree; Master's degree a plus
- Technical Knowledge Required: 3 plus years systems analysis experience
- Other requirements: Experience in ERP (SAP), MES (Apriso), TeamCenter PLM, Microsoft/SharePoint knowledge and experience a plus, Solid team and project management skills; PMP Certification preferred, Ability to work with mínimal supervision, Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities, Ability to work in a global, matrixed organization, Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others (shop floor, department managers, plant managers, and VIPs); work harmoniously and effectively as part of a global team, Ability to provide IT solutions that meet the business needs while staying within budget and often rapid timelines, Results oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills., Ability to get results by working through systems and relationships, Ability to respond with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines, Detail oriented, Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, Ability to understand complex business requirements and recommend solutions, Ability to understand and implement new technology, Ability and desire to solve complex issues/problems, Understanding/experience of database technologies, Knowledge and experience with IT controls and governance
