The professional should directly influence the competitive advantages for the company, using their procurement skills with the appropriate characteristics to reach and exceed the proposed goals, positively impacting the business.The Category Buyer will provide support to the procurement manager delivering against procurement strategies for a IT spend category and Supply Chain Data Analysis.**Responsibilities**:- Supplier Relationship Management process - to optimize and improve Quality, Delivery, Cost, Payment conditions- Exposure to strategy development is desirable, with experience in contracts and negotiations for products, services and correlated area- Procure and manage global and/ or category service contracts including negotiation of pricing and service levels with selected contractors within each subcategory/ region- Accomplish specialized / localized contracts where necessary, revise existing contracts as needed, and define policies, regulations and contractual procedures for IT category- Receive the needs for products and service- Issue Requests for Quotations for the selection of suppliers for needed products and services- Ensure the best cost modelling (considering total cost ownership) and negotiations for each purchase project/need- Ensure an efficient Supply plan (no out of stock )- Monitor the Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order progress within the Requesting Department- Identify delays, resolve or escalate them to right line manager if necessary- Lead the implementation of corporate procurement data collection by automating key category KPIs- Act as purchasing key user on implementation of new software projects within Supply Chain Management area.**Requirements**:- Negotiation technical skills- Working knowledge on data systems used by Procurement- Effective participation in multi-functional work-projects and cross-functional teams in an international environment- Understanding of general finance, continuous improvement, contractual terms and conditions, and how to mitigate risk- Ideally previous IT Procurement experience- Advanced English- Bachelor´s Degree- Ideally purchasing/procurement experienceTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Vacaciones adicionales o permisos con goce de sueldo- Vales de despensaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono anual
