- Responsible for the on-going operation of IT service delivery in Mexicali and Calexico and as part of a global virtual team providing remote assistance to TT sites around the world,
- Be the first point of contact for IT issues. Take ownership of IT issues and follow them through to ensure they are complete even if passed to another colleague in the IT team.
- Work within a virtual team to provide support to staff around the global with IT issues escalating where necessary to other teams. You are responsible for any escalated calls and will ensure that these are resolved acceptably to both parties.
- Support local systems such as servers, storage, telecoms, and networking.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate backups are completed and tapes stored securely as per policy.
- Monitor the availability of global systems through existing portals and log/resolve/escalate issues.
- Responsible for IT hardware and software inventory.
Experiência y requisitos
- At least 3 years' experience in IT support and direct problem resolution roles.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and process execution is a benefit.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems to Windows 11 client
and Windows Server 2019.
- Knowledge of server and storage technologies.
- Knowledge of Nutanix is beneficial.
- Knowledge of VOIP and PBX systems.
- Knowledge of Backup Exec and/or HYCU is beneficial.
- Effective time management.
- Strong team focus.
