As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will collaborate with company customers, staff members, IT colleagues, and other partners to manage PPG's network connectivity solutions and services. You will lead a group of regional teams that manage PPG's network infrastructure and equipment at Performance Hubs and over 2,000 locations globally. You will gather feedback regarding PPG's current network connectivity solutions, determine opportunities for improvement, assess value, prioritize importance, investigate available technologies and solutions, conduct POCs (proof of concepts), and assist the other IT infrastructure teams on the implementation of new network solutions that are automated, performant, secure, scalable, and resilient. You will prioritize projects and aligning standards and expectations globally while still delivering services in a local manner that best fits the business and locations where PPG does business. This is a leadership role which requires someone with an expert level knowledge of telecommunications/network technologies, and articulate company strategy to senior leadership. This is a hybrid model position.
**Main Responsibilities.**
- Provide leadership for the strategic direction PPG's Global Network (LAN, WAN, wireless) services and solutions, including the lifecycle of equipment globally.
- Maintain awareness of current IT projects with network requirements PPG and planned projects throughout PPG's Global IT infrastructure organization.
- Develop people through performance management and ongoing feedback, focusing on fostering and developing talent and succession planning across the team.
- Acquire and manage the vital resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and main personnel, to support the LAN/WAN goals and reduce overall organizational risk.
- Directly supervise and coach technical people leaders and conduct the P&LP process for their direct reports.
- They set the priorities for the group's work, and resolve conflict, all while fostering a positive and engaging team environment.
**Qualifications.**
- + 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations and solutions deployment.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience leading teams, +5 years personnel supervision experience.
- +5 years project management experience, including implementing projects from vision through implementation.
