The IT Business Unit Sr Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. This role supports business strategy assuring compliance Front to Back to Risk with internal policies, local and global regulations and the architectural model defined for Markets FI/Repo/MM solution.Position is responsible for the Markets (FI/Repo/MM) solution implementation and evolution while also ensuring stability, resilience, and soundness of the platforms.Responsibilities:Manage the FI/Repo/MM functional area and executes the strategic plans to support the function with responsibilities including management of people, budget and planning, performance evaluation.Develop, define, and implement technology projects to meet FI/Repo/MM area strategies and goals and apply a broad and comprehensive understanding across the bank as well as underlying FI/Repo/MM management principles.
