DESCRIPTION We are actively looking for anIT Infrastructure Engineerwho ensures that the information technology infrastructure of the business units is secure, reliable, efficient and scalable, aligned with the needs of the plants and prepared to face current and future technological challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related.Fluent in English.Advanced knowledge in software management: MS Office 3, Virtual Software (VMware).Advanced knowledge in hardware devices (Dell, Huawei/HC3 switches, UPS, Fortinet firewalls, CCTV and door access control).Design of scalable, secure and efficient infrastructure solutions.Knowledge in implementation and configuration of IT Infrastructure components, installation of physical and virtual servers, network configuration (LAN, WAN, VLANs), storage (SAN, NAS) and security and identity management systems.Knowledge in implementation of IT security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, data encryption and network security policies.Knowledge in infrastructure projects from the planning phase to execution and closure.ACTIVITIES Provide technical support for hardware issues and follow industry-standard processes and procedures. Foster relationships with other IT sub-departments, working to maintain a secure environment and improve our architectural footprint.Implement IT policies and procedures regarding inventory computing (assets).Establish relationships with external vendors and manage related IT contracts.Oversee system monitoring, system update or patch application, and define storage requirements.Develop disaster recovery strategies and collaborate with application teams to maintain and host applications.Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), establish and monitor service level agreements, and communicate planned and unplanned system outages.Review daily and weekly health review reports for servers, UPS, Firewalls, etc.Implement practices for hardware scalability, compatibility, ease of maintenance, and performance.Design, develop, and test computer systems and components, such as circuit boards.
