**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage the Information Technology Department activities while providing clear direction and goals.
- Understand, implement, and collaborate to improve the organization's global IT practices.
- Continuously analyze current processes, technologies, systems, and vendors to identify areas of improvement. Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports when necessary. Evaluate vendors and solutions to ensure they offer the best possible product, service, and value for company needs.
- Preserve information assets by implementing, maintaining, and monitoring disaster recovery processes, back-up procedures, and information security and control structures. Backups include servers, cloud operations, and core JAC IT infrastructure. Ensure viable backups and complete periodic testing to ensure recovery.- Successfully install, configure, and support a stable information technology infrastructure to include appropriate servers, cabling, wi-fi, end user computing, and associated resources.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Foster and maintain a team-oriented working environment that allows for individual differences and provides for individual growth.
- Strong understanding of network and endpoint security practices to include anti-virus, managed detection & response (MDR), endpoint detection & response (EDR), firewalls, routing, VLANs, micro segmentation, and related.
- Ability to travel
**PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Resources Management or similar experience
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:
- Minimum five (5) years working in a multi person IT department for a multi-location organization showing increasing responsibility.
- Expertise implementing, configuring, and testing information technology solutions.
- Experience with or knowledge of operating systems (Office365, Exchange, Active Directory, and other windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, networking, security, and system performance monitoring.
