The Business Partner will need to have significant knowledge of both IT and Manufacturing Operations. They are responsible to understand the complexity of the Operation, assist in the prioritisation of projects, ensure that projects align with the GQO / IT strategic prioritised plans and deliver maximum return on investment. Supporting and driving the adoption of existing systems will be essential to ensure that Manufacturing Operations business get maximum value from investments. With the local service delivery manager, they are responsible for the delivery of IT services within the Business Units Manufacturing Operations sites.Duties and ResponsibilitiesActs as the liaison between Manufacturing Operations Leadership, Departments (including Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance), Employees, Vendors, Local Deskside IT and Global IT Hubs.Serves as the escalation point for P1 & P2 incidents based on severity and impact on Manufacturing Operations; ensuring that the relevant IT Teams / Vendors are engaged to support and reduce downtime arising from incidents.Understands the specific technology needs and challenges within their Manufacturing Operations processes - aligning IT services accordingly.Provide on-site technical support for validated applications used in critical Manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with ITQA, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs teams and compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA, EMA, and GxP standards.Troubleshoot equipment failures or malfunctions on the factory floor, including in-process test equipment, ruggedized devices, industrial PCs, and machinery interfaces
