The Systems Analyst will work with both internal and external design/implementation teams and work cross-functionally between the business and IT to bridge the gaps between design, content and technology.
Key Accountabilities- Must have experience with and understand standard business processes and manufacturing related systems functionality-
- Responsible for gathering and documenting requirements and objectives from the business- Work closely with internal resources from IT, engineering, operations and other functional areas on developing, implementing, and maintaining effective system support for efficient and effective execution- Ability to interact professionally and build positive business relationships with a diverse group of people- Tests, documents, and conducts end user training regarding the systems of support to ensure the systems are being used properly and that they are meeting business needs- Work to deliver assigned projects on time and within scope- Ensuring adherence to process standards and reviewing project deliverables- Document and maintain processes- Manage internal and external clients- Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments- Teamwork / leadership in defined project teams
**Qualifications**:
Schooling: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or other related technical degree
Master's degree preferred
Experience time in similar position: 3-5 years related experience as an analyst in automotive manufacturing
Technical knowledge required:- 3+ years of experience working with databases hosted on Microsoft SQL Server and fundamental understanding of how Microsoft SQL Server functions.- Experience supporting and developing reports in reporting tools like SQL Server Reporting Services.- 2+ years of working with manufacturing systems responsible for running and collecting information on the shop floor.-
- Practical knowledge of methodologies to support new implementations, software development and quality assurance methodology, system development methodology and Quality Assurance best practices- Strong business analysis and analytical skills- Attention to detail and ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, work harmoniously and effectively as part of a global team- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- Ability to respond with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines- Ability to work with mínimal supervision- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written
