The Project Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead and guide project teams and control project timelines, costs, and performance risks to ensure on-time delivery. This role leads project coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion in consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The incumbent reviews project demands, develops project plans, and ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meets corporate and business unit expectations. Helps colleagues around the world build new immersive experiences!
**A Day in the Life**:
- Advocates for continuous PPI improvement to improve the success of new projects and the overall customer experience.
- Leads everyday workflow of all project management processes and documents all details in the project management software. Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments achieve the outlined quality parameters.
- Evaluates all project information, resources, and reports, and ensures achievement of all team objectives, and provides progress updates to supervisors.
- Establishes relationships across business divisions and works closely with internal business partners in a matrix environment, to ensure project results meet the definition of success.
- Identifies project risks and ensures mitigation plans are in place, working to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Defines and tracks project landmarks while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall coordinated delivery plan
- Develops the project charter, project plan, contingency plan, and related project management documents/artifacts
- Advocates for continuous PPI improvement
**Keys to Success**:
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 1+ year of experience in a project management-related role.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
- Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, creative, and the ability to work on own initiative.
- Effectively communicates in both technical and business environments.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Project, and SharePoint).
- Proficiency in project management methods, processes, and software - PMI/PMP certification a plus.
- Excellent at planning and organizing.
- Able to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment comfortably.
