**About the Team**
Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) are a global team that are accountable for many of the IT tools and services that directly contribute to the effectiveness of our AstraZeneca colleagues.
We partner locally in more than 60 global business sites for service delivery and IT experience and are accountable for all infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations and End User services and technologies.
ETS also manages many of the large IT contracts at AZ, as well as partnering with large organisations on behalf of AZ to deliver value and innovation through new and existing capabilities and services.
**The Main Responsibilities**
Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle well-established risk mitigated Project framework for both transition and transformation projects, ensuring timely and successful project execution, risk, and cost management, and managing the coordination of technical resources and stakeholders.
Work multi-functionally across the Project to create a complete, integrated, compliant process design, influencing partners as needed and highlighting any impact of decisions on budget and schedule. Ensure relevant standards (methodologies, tools, concepts, specifications, guidelines, and technical solutions) are applied.
PM Role Requirements and core accountabilities
**_ Project Planning and Execution:_**
- Task and Milestone Management: Create a comprehensive project plan that outlines tasks, milestones, and dependencies. Ensure that the plan is well-structured and includes realistic timeframes.
**_ Stakeholder Communication:_**
- Regular Updates: Maintain open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
**_ Risk Management:_**
- Risk Identification: Identify potential project risks, both technical and non-technical, and assess their potential impact on project outcomes.
**_ Resource Management:_**
- Resource Forecasting: Anticipate resource needs throughout the project lifecycle and work with relevant teams to ensure necessary resources are available.
**_ Documentation:_**
- Requirements Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements accurately.
- Documentation Maintenance: Maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and test plans. Ensure documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant team members.
**_ Change Management:_**
- Change Control: Evaluate and assess requested changes to the project scope, timeline, or resources. Implement change control processes to manage changes effectively.
**_ Team Leadership:_**
- Team Development: Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
**_ Client Relationship Management:_**
- Client Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed of project progress.
**Requirements**:
- Bacelor's Degree and/or minimum +5 years proven experience as an IT PM across the project lifecycle.
- Strong Project and Programme Management Skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong understanding of program & project management methodologies, tools, and best practice.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
- Solid leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels globally.
- Ability to lead difficult discussions, handle expectations and deliver solutions across complex partner groups.
**Desirable**
- Broad understanding of IT systems and technology implemented within business context.
- Experience managing Network, Infrastructure and Data Center Projects.
- Knowledge of the end-to-end IT Project Lifecycle Process and Methodologies.
