**About the role**The resource manager assigns resources to projects based on skills, experience, and availability.
Helps to determine current capacity, and is aware of current and upcoming projects to identify training and/or hiring needs.
Monitors utilization, productivity, and performance evaluation.
**Responsibilities and Duties**- Assign available employees to projects according to their skillsets, previous experience, and availability.- Capacity planning: ensuring that a company's resources can work on upcoming projects.- Monitor and manage employees' workload, utilization, and overtime hours.- Manage resource conflicts.- Overcome resource shortages using resource management techniques, reallocating resources, assigning more staff, etc; informing senior management of any issues related to the inability to meet clients' needs due to resourcing.- Support project managers in resolving resource management issues or improving resource management processes.- Informed about the current and upcoming projects and able to plan resources accordingly.- Oversees performance evaluations of the company resources- Collaborating with the HR department regarding staff training, onboarding, and hiring new staff for projects.- Documenting processes (e.G.
weekly utilization report, etc.).
**Required skills**- +3 years of experience on resource management in the IT area.- Proficiency in human resource management.- English level: Intermediate to advanced.- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.- Critical thinking, analytical, and forecasting skills.- Conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.- Flexibility and good decision-making skills.- Managerial and time-management skills
