The IT SAP EWM Analyst will be responsible for support of enterprise-class applications. Systems for development include SAP S/4 Private Instance.
Position Description:
In this role you will work as an operation support specialist in the new Global S4 HANA team being created in the strategic ERP Transformation Organization. You will work in an international company with a great history having many divisions and subsidiaries all over the world. You will work with colleagues from different regions, lead meetings, and take responsibility for the SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) workstream with a focus on the NAFTA area.
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: EWM stream - Ability to demonstrate S/4 HANA processes in Extended Warehouse ManagementExperience in EWM implementation & customizing.Experience in dealing with key integration areas of supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing.Experience in S4 Conversion, workflow, interfaces, and EDI.Strong analytical thinking skills.Able to perform under pressure during times like a system down situation.Ability to work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Conduct working sessions with business users as required.Able to work with the Basis team during troubleshooting providing guidance when required.The ability to research and apply OSS notes as required to resolve issues.Will need to become proficient in working within our ticketing system – ServiceNow.Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage work with minimal supervision able to work independently following Corning established coding guidelines.Will work with the operations team in support break/fix activities as well as assignments.Will be in an on-call rotation supporting the team/organization expected to meet SLA commitments defined by IT and agreed upon by the organization.Develop software systems, including programming, documentation, and testing procedures.Education & Experience: 3+ years SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4Proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, and Technical Solution DesignExcellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creation.In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices.Required Skills: EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) - Ability to demonstrate S/4 HANA Processes for Extended Warehouse Management.Inbound, Outbound, Internal warehouse processes, put away, picking, receipt.Inbound Delivery, Outbound delivery processing, Wave and queue processing, Warehouse monitor usage, PPF Action.SAP EWM Master Data.Experienced SAP S4 HANA EWM/Extended Warehouse Management Lead Consultant to work on identifying and resolving complex technical issues within our customer service-level agreements.Desired Skills: Experience in other SAP modules.Development experience (ABAP is a strong plus).Proficiency in debugging complex programs.ServiceNow experience.Soft Skills: Good teamwork, written and oral communication in English and customer service skills.Needs to be a self-starter with strong analytical thinking skills, able to work independently.Corning Puts YOU First!
