.Siemens Energy is looking for an SAP FICO Application Analyst to join a team of highly experienced IT professionals supporting the company's aim to shape the future of the energy market. This position provides global consulting and governance for Finance and Controlling processes in the Siemens Energy ERP systems. You will be working with a solution provider for various ECC6 systems, ensuring that business is running smoothly and all issues/change requests are handled appropriately. You will also be involved in driving process standardization as part of the S/4 HANA project and migration from ECC6.The position reports to the lead of the FICO chapter, which is part of the ERP value center.How You'll Make an ImpactDevelopment of new process solutions together with representatives of Business Units, Segments, and IT.Global demand management, process consulting & business support for the ERP systems.Partner with key business contacts to create requirements and functional specifications for complex SAP developments.Develop test cases and manage test activities.Perform IT Project Management duties for small-to-medium projects.Oversee IT provider for application maintenance and change requests.Collaboration with other application teams, Basis & Security teams, and the Service Desk team.What You BringBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.At least 5+ years of experience in global governance, global demand management & business support for IT-integrated business processes.At least 5+ years of experience in business process design in finance (FI) and controlling (CO).Knowledge of relevant SAP and S/4 HANA in the area of Finance with AR/AP/GL/AA, COPA, Cost center & Profit center controlling.Proficiency in written and spoken English.Proficiency in German Language is a plus.Knowledge of accounting principles IFRS, GAAP is a plus.Project management experience (scheduling, quality control, change communication).10 – 20% business travel (domestic & international).Implementation experience with a multi-national company is preferred.Your Opportunities for Personal GrowthYou will be working in a global project team to shape the new SAP S/4 HANA implementation for Siemens Energy.Opportunities to grow into module expert or to branch out to other areas.Siemens Energy promotes continual learning by offering access to the Siemens Energy Learning Platform.
