Job Title: IT Scrum Master
**Introduction to Role**:
Join the ETS Project Capabilities Delivery Team as we increase our scrum master capability. This role will typically adopt an AGILE methodology when delivering projects. Reporting to an SPM or PM, the scrum master leads small project teams or supports larger projects/programmes from initiation to close, delivering effective solutions that meet approved customer and business needs. This role is also expected to have strong business analysis experience and is required to follow established project management standards and identify possible project management capability areas for improvement.
**Accountabilities**:
As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate release planning sessions, plan and host daily standup meetings, sprint reviews and demo sessions, and sprint retrospective sessions. You will assist the Product Owner in backlog grooming and establishing acceptance criteria, track cross team dependencies, ensure all stories are documented in JIRA, coordinate the Go-Live activities, grow the project team's agile maturity, assess the suitability for adopting an AGILE approach, manage changes to project/programme scope, capture user stories, business requirements and commitment to project/program objectives, assist with managing project/programme budgets, identify and assist with effective risk & issue management, ensure the project team adheres to all standards including ADF, quality, and compliance, as well as processes, defined technical capabilities, and best practices.
**Essential Skills/Experience**:
- Technical or business degree or relevant proven experience
- 36+ months in a project delivery role
- Agile and Scrum Master skills across multiple different types of projects
- Experience of performing a Business Analyst role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good business acumen with sensitivity to environment
- Familiar with project management and delivery methodologies and standards
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate in a sophisticated, fast moving and ambiguous environment
- Experience handling and delivering around multiple conflicting priorities
- Familiarity of working with global collaborators in a multi-time zone environment
- Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
- Ability to intuitively identify and fill gaps of different role types
- Strong networking and team working skills
- Excellent time management and planning skills
**Desirable Skills/Experience**:
- Masters degree
- Experience of working with internal and third party suppliers
