**WHO ARE YOU?**
- Graduated from an engineering training course or equivalent with specialized skills in cybersecurity and/or network and system administration.
- You can demonstrate an initial experience in vulnerability management and secure administration of computer systems.
- You are proficient in scripting languages and/or automation solutions (bash, powershell, ansible...).
- English is essential for optimal communication with your peers.
**WHAT CAN WE ACHIEVE TOGETHER?**
**Context**:
By joining the IT Security Remediation Support team, within the CISO team of Thales DIS, the IT security remediation support engineer advises and assists business organizations through the management of "Business Managed Networks" and IT organizations to achieve DIS CISO goals in this area.
The goal of the role is to provide adequate support to the different business and IT teams in terms of expertise, tooling, OS models or configuration to reduce the exposure of DIS information systems to direct or indirect attacks. The missions include assisting IT or business teams, intervening on certain determined perimeters, developing and configuring tools, and technological monitoring related to these topics. In this context, the support engineer for resolution of vulnerabilities will be responsible, in collaboration with his team, for keeping up to date an inventory of vulnerabilities present on the DIS SI as well as a knowledge base for remediation accessible to business and IT teams.
**You will be in charge of**:
- Gathering vulnerability data from all possible sources and contextualizing it.
- Being a driving force in making proposals and initiatives to improve the coverage and relevance of this data collection.
- Technically assisting teams in the remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of the vulnerability knowledge base.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of remediation tools (scripts, processes, reporting, automation).
- Participating in the development and maintenance of secure images and hardening scripts.
