Other duties may be assigned.- Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to assist in problem resolution.- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment following design or installation specifications.- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.- Research and perform diagnostics to provide accurate and efficient technical assistance.- Escalate major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians under warranty or support contracts and follow to resolution.- Manage computer hardware inventory of assigned region.- Perform initial troubleshooting of site network problems and resolve or escalate appropriately.- Confer with end users and stake holders to understand and establish needs of the community and work with IT team to provide related solutions.- Track requests, problems, incidents, and resolutions through the provided ticketing system.- Create and maintain documentation for internal department knowledge base as well as external end user enablement.- Works closely with other members of the IT team to ensure successful and consistent resolutions and standardized best practice.- Communicates regularly with direct management and team on daily activities, problems, and projects.- Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.**Education and/or Experience**:- 3 - 5 years of experience.- Experience with ticketing systems or formalized issue tracking.- Associates degree or equivalent experience.- Knowledge of Windows 10 based computer hardware.- Knowledge of iOS mobile devices and management.- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer and personal services (ITIL preferred).Thank you for your interest in a career with Varel Energy Solutions.Thank you for your interest in a career with Varel Energy Solutions.IEId5bzI17
