About the Role
Individuals who hold the overall technical responsibility for IT Assets (e.g., IT Systems, applications, IT services, networks, OT systems, IoT devices). They serve as the primary technical point of contacts for their IT Assets and are accountable for, among others, their installation, maintenance, and implementation of all security technical requirements. Holds technical expertise to swiftly identify the asset and respond to security threats
Designs and oversees the implementation of technical solutions to address business challenges or requirements. Bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities by translating business requirements into technical specifications and designing comprehensive solutions that meet organizational objectives.
Understand business goals, identify technical requirements, and develop architecture designs that align with the organization's strategic vision.
Solution Architect is responsible for application management
1.Responsible for the operation and administration of an IT Asset
2.Manage Asset Security Requirements
3.Together with the Assets Owner, ensure & Maintain Supplier Compliance
4.?Identify cybersecurity relevant asset architecture and?define measures to fulfill security requirements
5.Implement and Review Protection Measures (Data, authorizations, encryptions, etc.)
6.Develop asset according to state of the art principles
7.Changes of Assets in Production
8.Handle End-of-Life Asset Activities
9.Ensures all times that appropriate technical measures for Siemens-internal and external infrastructure are implemented.
Understand the portfolio of applications, technologies, services, standards, and new development efforts underway to improve them. Leverage the knowledge when evaluating business requirements to recommend extensible and scalable solution architectures that align with needs and the company strategy.
Drive architecture-related topics that enable idea sharing across teams and leverage existing technologies and solutions to maximize the business value and adopt cutting-edge technologies.
Establish application architecture standards and governance framework that multiple groups can follow to contribute.
Lead comprehensive technical assessments for local 3rd-party digital tools and products and provide selection recommendations to business and IT stakeholders.
Provide strategic direction, roadmap, and standards within the area of responsibility
Qualification
• At least 5 years of working experience in the fields of IT solution architecture
• Significant practical experience or good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
• Understanding of application development methodologies, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems
• Be familiar with application modernization types, cloud-native development technologies and major application platforms
• Have in-depth understanding and expertise in multiple technologies, including but not limited to a programming language (such as Java, .net, Python, c#, c++, etc.), database management system (DBMS), development tools, integrated development environment (IDE) as well as front end technology, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills; Strong presentation and communication skills and solid ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences of Stakeholders.
• Ability to demonstrate commitment to develop, drive, and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, having a medium-high English Language Domain/Fluency (Speaking, Reading & Writing)
