**IT Support Specialist**
- The role requires contributions to providing exceedingly reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient End User IT Asset Management services.
- Assists in the installation, implementation, and upgrades of internal systems.
- May maintain a tracking system for usage evaluation. Maintains an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software, and supplies.
- Troubleshoots, maintains, and monitors, external and internal hard drives, printers, plotters, and scanners.
**_Principal Duties and Responsibilities:_**
- Troubleshoot and fix complex hardware-related computer problems using standardized procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve complex software-related issues through software configuration and reconfiguration.
- Perform computer hardware and software installations and upgrades following standard processes.
- Transfer data for multiple machines during replacements or upgrades while ensuring data integrity.
- Resolve complex networking problems, including cable connections and repairs.
- Document computer and telephone repairs, recording serial and parts numbers.
- Log troubleshooting steps in the Service-Now ticketing system.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve conflicts and challenges.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including hardware setup.
- Audit and verify processes and procedures used by colleagues.
- Install and connect cabling and wiring from network closets to office equipment.
- Lift and install equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
- Perform tasks at various heights (standing or sitting) as required.
- Utilize computers and test equipment for extended periods of time.
- Maintain continuous communication in both Spanish and English with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
- Conduct monthly audits of critical spaces.
- Perform monthly audits of stockroom inventory.
**_Education Requirements:_**
- Bachelor's Degree in IT-related careers.
