In Mexico it has the divisions of: Daimler Truck, Daimler Truck Buses and Daimler Truck Financial Services.Objective of the position: On-site OperationsThe ITC-MX Specialist - On-site Operations is responsible to perform all those activities in the framework of the trade compliance activities in each Daimler location (plant or warehouse) within Mexico that are directly related to the Customs operations managed by the International trade Compliance Mexico team. The ITC-MX Specialist - On-site Operations must represent the ITC area in the applicable location, being the main point of contact for all customs matters On-site, and the interface between the plant with the rest of the ITC-MX Team, ITC-US, Finance, Accounting, Fiscal, Legal, Corporate Security or another areas which have relation with the Customs compliance topics into the company.Main Functions:Domestic Trade Compliance:Perform MX trade compliance processes performed at each location, advocating for Customs matters, representing ITC at the different locations and maintaining interaction/ communication with the International Trade Compliance teams.Support the Plant Operations and Management areas in all the international trade and related processes along with the Plant Logistics area creating international trade compliance awareness at the assigned plant/location such as Import/Export Processes Support.Support the International Trade Mexico teams with compliance and operational requests made to the assigned plant/location and its external warehouses.Fiscal Deposit/Customs Management & Initiatives/Projects:Compliant performance of Fiscal Deposit / Bonded Warehouse processes at the assigned plant/location such as Material Reception Discrepancies Review (F2), Material Shipment Authorization and Productive (DDC's engines, clusters, and clusters/dashboard and his parts, and/or B parts) Material Fiscal Destruction Audit - DTNA project and DDC's engines & Clusters/dashboards.Create strategic customs plans for new project initiatives related to customs matters and support them with a business case.Standardize processes and service levels in the assigned plant/location in respect to the International Trade Mexico management framework/scope.Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of trade related documentation delivered at the assigned plant/location by third-parties for record keeping at the Corporate Offices
