.**Java Software Engineer**We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented bilingual Software Engineer to join our Sustaining Engineering group. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining software-based engineering tools that drive our Engineering team. You will have ownership of our engineering database, which is crucial for our product line and future developments. Responsibilities**Software Development**:- Translate Engineering rules into executable Java/VBA/JavaScript code.- Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.- Write well-designed, testable code.- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.**Team Collaboration**:- Contribute to the setup of general guidelines and standards for software development.- Provide guidance to the team on Software technical implementations.- Comply with project plans and industry standards.**Product Optimization**:- Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.- Test and maintain software products to ensure functionality and optimization.- Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary. Qualifications**Mandatory**:- **Hybrid position (3x2 or 2x3) in Santa Catarina / Garcia, Nuevo León (NOT REMOTE)**:- **Advanced English communication (client located in U.S.)**:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- Advanced (2-4 years) programming experience using Java/JavaScript or C/C++. - Experience with Object-Oriented Java Language. - Knowledge in XML language for defining, storing, and sharing data.- Experience with Git/GitHub and Perforce software version control tools. - Strong communication skills.- Strong analytical and learning skills--.
