We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Java Developer.
What you'll do: Provide L1.5/ L2 support for IBM BAW (BPEL, Mediation) and WAS servers (Java Application).Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the systems.Handle P1/P2 incidents on priority in quick time to meet SLA requirements and minimize business impact.Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Java, BPEL, and Mediation.Collaborate with L3 support teams/client Designer, Architects/Business Team to escalate and resolve complex issues.Implement and maintain best practices for system operations and support.Take up SRE related activities on enhancement and recurring issues to stabilize the current platform and improve Application availability.Document issues, resolutions, and workarounds to build a knowledge base.Preferred experience: 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or as a Java developer.Proven experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) and WebSphere Application Server (WAS).Strong knowledge of Java, BPEL, and Mediation.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Advanced Level of English is a must.Why Cognizant?
