Job Title: Java Production Support Analyst
Infosys is seeking a Java Production Support Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Requirements Elicitation. You will also be responsible for delivering high-quality code, supporting testing, and other activities related to project implementation, transition, and warranty. Technical Expertise: Experience in application support, maintenance, and analysis in Core Java, J2EE, and any RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase/DB2/SQL Server/Postgresql).Application support / Production support / L3 support, maintenance, and analysis skills are mandatory.Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in Core Java, J2EE.At least 2 years of experience in RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase/DB2/SQL Server/Postgresql).At least 2 years of experience in application support, production support / L3 support, maintenance, and analysis, with good knowledge of SQL (scripts, joins, index, queries, etc.).At least 2 years of experience in the software development life cycle and the ability to read and understand application logs.At least 2 years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.Experience in the Financial Services domain.Good exposure to Unix commands and Shell scripting skills.Experience with version control systems such as GIT, CI/CD Pipeline, Splunk, etc.Basic knowledge of Unix scripting and commands.Understanding of Java 8 features.Required: Good communication skills (English).Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Role Description: Implement bug and coding fixes.Work actively with team members to enhance, analyze, and resolve application issues.Identify defects/discrepancies to determine the root cause by debugging or analyzing logs.Improve application stability by observing patterns, recurring alerts, or issues for permanent fixes or automation.Java support/debugging.Basic knowledge of OOPs, debugging, exception handling, memory management, and garbage collection.Ability to code and execute Java programs on demand.Knowledge of writing PL/SQL statements.Good understanding of joins and aggregate functions.Familiarity with clauses like Group By and Having.Understanding of performance tuning of queries.Knowledge of commands to check DB health and query debugging.Personal Attributes: High analytical skills.A high degree of initiative and flexibility.High customer orientation.High-quality awareness.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in the Financial Domain.Experience in production support.This position requires a hybrid work mode, needing your presence in the office for at least 60% of the workdays every week.
