Job Description: Java Production Support Analyst Infosys is seeking a Java Production Support Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation. You will also be responsible for delivering high-quality code, supporting testing, and other activities related to project implementation, transition, and warranty. Technical Expertise: Experience working in Application support, maintenance, and analysis in Core Java, J2EE, and any RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase/DB2/SQL Server/Postgresql).Application support / Production support / L3 support, maintenance, and analysis skills are mandatory.Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology. Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience in Core Java, J2EE.At least 4 years of experience in RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase/DB2/SQL Server/Postgresql).At least 4 years of experience in application support, production support / L3 support, maintenance, and analysis.At least 4 years of experience in the software development life cycle and should have the ability to read and understand application logs.At least 4 years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.Experience in the Financial Services domain.Good exposure to Unix commands and Shell scripting skills.Good experience with version control systems such as GIT, CI/CD Pipeline, Splunk, etc.Good communication skills (English).Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Role Description: Implement bug and coding fixes.Work actively with team members to enhance, analyze, and resolve application issues.Identify defects/discrepancies to determine the root cause by debugging or analyzing logs.Improve application stability by observing patterns, recurring alerts, or issues for permanent fix or automation. Identify alerts/processes that can be automated and then work with the engineering team to automate them. Challenge existing application setups and processing, and suggest different ways to solve problems or improve stability.
