In this project, you will be a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This position supports and transforms existing and new mission critical and highly-visible operational website(s) and applications – spanning multiple technology stacks – through all phases of SDLC, while working collaboratively across IT, business, and third party suppliers from around the globe in a 24×7, fast-paced, and Agile based environment. Responsibilities: Lead/Guide a team of developers in best practices, with an emphasis on Java, cloud-based development, and system reliability. Mentors and coaches team members related to architecture, design, development, build, deployment, and maintenance of systems. Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle and is responsible for the application design Designs, develops, and implements largescale, highly available applications Collaborates with the architect to define the technical roadmap for the product, provide design and technical governance, and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms Evaluates product requirements and propose solutions considering the product's vision and the technology roadmap Works closely with architecture to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs Completes appropriate documentation for technical designs, processes engineering, and project decisions Builds tools and patterns to accelerate development and delivery Researches and implements new technologies and solutions to enhance current processes, security, and performance Develops cross-departmental services and applications in coordination with IT's central architecture team Acts as the technical subject matter expert (SME) on the product Evaluates new technologies and tools, leads POCs to prove new ideas, and champions good design practices Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues, and identifies and implements solutions Collaborates with the production operations department to ensure deployments roll out smoothly and customer group support is met Works extended hours, including nights and weekends, as needed to support the operation Mandatory Skills Description: Cloud-based development, Azure, Kubernetes Microservices architecture and JavaScript MVC frameworks Java SE, Java EE, or Spring J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, Angular, XML, SOAP/REST, and other web development technologies Front-End Development: Angular, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, GIT, jQuery Java/Java EE design patterns, SOA principles and patterns, EAI patterns, and UML Experience in at least one web framework, preferably Spring Boot Object-oriented design principles and service-oriented application development patterns Diagnostics/Testing Tools, such as ADX, Dynatrace, Splunk, and SOAP UI Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Selenium, Slack, GitHub, Jenkins, Relational databases Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, customers, and external groups, as well as working in a collaborative environment with geographically dispersed resources Nice-to-Have Skills: 3 years of experience delivering SDLC solutions using Agile or similar methodologies 3 years of experience providing technical leadership Languages: English: C1 Advanced What we offer (Among other benefits) Food vouchers Major Medical Insurance Minor Medical Insurance Life Insurance Saving fund & Voluntary Saving Account (Fondo de ahorro & Caja de ahorro) Creditas: One of the main guaranteed loan platforms in Latin America Agreements: Different national universities and languages schools and special deals.
