Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Analyst ERP Applications located in Juarez North Campus.
Reporting to the Infortmation Technology Manager, the Analyst ERP Applications is responsible for increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.
What a typical day looks like:
- Interpret functional specification and convert it into a technical specification.
- Time estimation based on development specifications for developments to be done using Baan Tools.
- Develop new components*, customize existing components* in LN and Baan5 development environment using LN/Baan Tools, based on technical specifications.
- Testing of customizations/new developments as per user requirement.
- Create patches/dumps/PMCs on LN and Baan5.
- Installation of dumps/patches/PMCs on LN/Baan5 servers.
- Investigation of existing components and optimize existing *components for performance.
- Development and testing according to Documentation.
- Work with requestors to advise on how to configure the system to implement solutions.
- Ensure adequate monitoring and controls are in place to ensure stability of the solutions.
- Establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers, and cross functional teams.
- Adherence to Service level acceptance accord with the Business. Ensure timely reviews with stakeholders.
- Ensure minimum 'MTTR (Mean time to Repair)' while fixing problems. Follow-up with proper root cause investigation, corrective & preventive actions with an aim to increase 'MTBF (Mean time between failures)'.
- Ensure compliance of the systems w.r.t security and SOX requirements.
- Propose system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
- Review goals to define success of operation, involved developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations(s) and may also have company-wide effect.
- Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
- Monitor, documentation and following up of incidents, problem, change tickets, contact users for having real metrics numbers.

- Mailbox setup with OpenText, AutoRelease OEM install, configuring and testing EDI transactions, barcode labels, shippers, invoices, configurable interface, and training CSRs.- Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with Customers, Vendors, Users and Managers- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must speak fluent English- Automotive Industry and supply chain experience in a just-in-time production environment a strong plus- Strong understanding of ERP and all associated modules in a repetitive manufacturing environment:
- Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing, MPS/MRP, Vendor Scheduling, EDI Demand and Release Accounting, Supplier Demand
