Fills calibration service reports and enters the obtained information in the system. The activities of this position require direct supervision of the Senior Calibration Technician.If CSS Position: This position will have responsibilities across ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies including a span of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology, and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.You will be responsible for:Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines, this position:Techniques:Performs calibrations to dimensional equipment using equipment such as optical comparator, vision system, and/or pattern blocks.Performs calibration to equipment which indicates pressure and temperature with a moderate degree of difficulty and by using the Standards, thermocouples, and connectors indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician.- Calibrates scales, timers, and tachometers by using the standards indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician.Documentation:Records the readings obtained in the measuring on the calibration certificates.Follows the calibration procedures to perform his/her tasks.Enters the information of the calibration certificates in the system (PILGRIM).Labels and identifies the equipment in which he/she performs calibration.Follows the Good Manufacturing Practices procedures (GMPs).Applies the regulations stated by the metrology international standards such as ISO 17025, Guide 25, ANSI, and others.Organization:Maintains his/her place of work clean and organized.Can provide technical assistance and guidance to lower-level technicians.Provides support and follows instructions from the Calibration Senior and Principal Technicians.Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level
