Salary Range: MX$23,000.00 To 300,000.00 Annually Under general direction of the Principal and/or Project Manager/Lead, the Job Captain position is primarily responsible for preparing a complete and accurate set of architectural documents, coordinating engineering contract documents and project manuals, and collaborating with / directing the Production Team in all aspects of the project. Role: Under the supervision of the Project Manager, directs Production Team, assigns tasks, and allocates resources; facilitate communication among the staff regarding project status, objectives, and performance, and address any project issuesUnder general direction of the project team members, assists the project team in the development of the project design, production or presentation drawings and sketches, and documentation of the design (CADD) on, SketchUp, Revit, and other graphic softwareAssist with and/or develop project goals and plan layout; prepare information regarding design, materials and colorInterface with clients as directed throughout each project and manage relationships to ensure customer satisfactionPrepare, review, and check all construction documents for accuracy, coordinate documents with internal team members and external consultantsLead field survey teams as needed for development and documentation of as-built conditionsMaintain, organize, and archive project files during and at the close of a projectDemonstrate and utilize working knowledge of lighting, HVAC, structural, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical design as well as of relevant local and international codesCoordinate the submissions of documents to client or/and its representatives and support construction administration (RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, etc.)Maintain an awareness and understanding of project schedules and scopeExude a collaborative and positive attitude in working with the Production and Design Team and foster an atmosphere for learning and professional growthParticipates in mentoring programs to maintain continuous growth of other members of teamAssist with other duties as necessary (i.e. site visits, as-builts, code research, etc.) Maintains MVE + Partners standards of performance and policiesExtensive knowledge of Architectural detailing and construction standards You - Requirements: Degree in Architecture5-8 years' experience in a professional architecture office/studio settingWorking knowledge in operating CADD, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, SketchUp, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and Microsoft OfficeFluent in English, written and spoken.
