We seek talented QA automation engineers to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.
RESPONSIBILITIES Business-oriented professional, capable of understanding client goals and expectations first of all. Work with the product team and the development team to assess the best approach for creating a maintainable automation framework. Analyze acceptance criteria, use case scenarios, and general back-end expectations in order to design and develop streamlined, easy-to-maintain test cases. Execute functional testing while code is being developed. Create code that automates the execution of those tests. Assist developers with unit testing. What to aim for, what to avoid doing, and how to effectively test a coding unit. Be a team player, communicate progress and risks, and collaborate. REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in the QA area. 3+ years of experience working in test automation (Java). Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban). Solid understanding of programming concepts. Able to work with relational and non-relational databases. Skilled in testing REST APIs. Capable of creating mock services. Effective communication (oral and written) with clients. Proficient in reporting issues/bugs in a clear, easily understandable manner for all stakeholders.
