You will work closely with your local and international colleagues from Denmark and Asia, but also in the US.**JOB SUMMARY**:**Jr Calibration Engineer **position is part of the Quality Systems function. is responsible for the overall supervision, planning, scheduling and follow-up of calibration activities.**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Manage related contractor resources.- Coordinate with user departments and vendors for to ensure timely execution of calibration activities.- Develop and implement standardized metrics that guide actions and promote continuous improvement.- Work with equipment owners to ensure all new and existing instruments follow procedures for the calibration processes to determine appropriate limits/tolerances and set appropriate calibration frequencies.- Assist equipment owners in conducting and documenting investigations for out-of-calibration conditions on instruments using structured problem-solving techniques including identification of root-cause and effective preventative actions.- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled calibrations on instrumentation or equipment as needed.- Develop in house calibration method according to applicable standards.- Assist with quality event investigations and company audits.- Ensure the development and adherence to all calibration schedules and activities.- Contract with outside service providers for equipment-related calibration needs.- Responsible for maintaining content of training records for department in compliance with cGMP standards and GDPs.- Develop and maintain successful working relationships with both internal and external clients.- Assist management with preparation of budget for department and monitor adherence to budget.- Perform other duties as assigned.**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**:- Bachelor's degree preferably or related technical field- Previous experience is medical device environment and Calibration activities desired.**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS**:- Desired experience in calibration activities.- Desired experience managing suppliers.- Desired experience developing calibration procedures.**Work Environment**:This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards
