Responsibilities include training technicians; assigning work as needed and resolving problems.Your Team- Electronic TechnicianWhat You Will Do- Responsible for the incoming inspection of professional, electronic audio units- Diagnose / evaluate returns and repair the defective units to component level- Develop, maintain, and update service procedures and documents used by the department- Maintain clear and organized repair history records, including failure cause data- Ensure quality is maintained throughout repair process- Prepare management review reports to clearly identify trend failure and priority issues.- Provide leadership and technical guidance to ensure team efficiency meets minimum standards a defined by the department manager.- Participate and provides support related with environmental, Health and Safety objectives, targets and programs.What You Need- A minimum of at least 5 years of previous electronic repair experience- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics and technical specifications- Possess strong knowledge of electronics and ability to troubleshoot to component level in both analog and digital circuits- Experience using diagnostic test equipment in a lab environment- Skilled in manufacturing soldering techniques, including surface mount technology- Must be computer literate as required to carry out the basic functions of the position- Knowledge of computer networking basics including LAN's, Ethernet connections, and IP addresses.- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work in a dynamic, team oriented and fast paced environment- Creative problem solving and customer relations skills are a must- Must be detail oriented and well organized- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field requiredWhat is Nice to Have?- Professional audio industry technical experience- Technical writing and documentation- Knowledge of professional multi-channel digital media networking formats such as DANTE, MADI, Cobra Net, Ether Sound, and AVIOM- RF Wireless technology- Professional grade moving lights, DMX, and lighting controllers- Leadership of a technical repair team- ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 basic knowledge.What Makes You Eligible- Fluent communications in English and Spanish- Willingness to travel 0-5% of the time.- Willingness to work in an office in Tijuana, Mexico.- Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
