Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.**Key Duties And Responsibilities**- Compiles and maintains accurate financial information to prepare entries to accounts- Reconciles accounts, ledgers, and reports- Performs month-end closing transactions including preparation of key reports- Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders- Implements proper internal controls to contain costs and increase efficiencies- Assists in the preparation and development of annual budget and forecasts- Prepares, reviews, and analyzes reports and data, monitoring for accuracy and completeness and making- recommendations for improvement- Assists with inventory valuation- Maintains and reviews records and data to ensure compliance with all corporate policies and all GAAP, local, state and- federal law- Supports accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and invoicing- Supports continuous improvement initiatives for accounting process and information flowEDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS**Education Required**Bachelor's Degree**Education Desired**Bachelor's DegreeSKILLS & EXPERIENCE**Work Experience Required**At least 7 years relevant experience**Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired**- Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools and strategies- Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material- Knowledge of and ability to use processes, tools and techniques for exploring and evaluating alternative financial scenarios and results- Knowledge of the functions, tools and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the organization- Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reportsABOUT ORBIS CORPORATION1272161-2020- social-responsibility-report/0
