Jr. Logistics Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:As a Logistics Coordinator in theCarrier Sales Divisionyou will be responsible for strategically sourcing and matching trucking companies with our clients portfolio of shipments from pickup to delivery. You will be conducting strategic sales activities, including making outbound and inbound calls to trucking companies in the United States and negotiating competitive freight rates. In addition, you will also onboard and develop new carrier relationships, supervise the track and trace of your shipments, and problem-solving issues related to your shipments.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities as Follow and not limited to:Conduct outbound/inbound calls to carriers in the client's internal and external networksNegotiate and sell competitive rates for our client's shipmentsOnboard newcarriers and develop ongoing relationshipsSupervise the track and tracing of your shipmentsResolve issues related to your shipments and communicate them to account managementEnsure invoices and PODs are accurately being sent to Billing in a timely mannerSource and procure carriers through load boards, internal/external networks, and referralsProactive in communicating daily with the trucking companies you will work with.Provide exceptional customer service to our carrier partnersFull transparency of our available shipmentsSKILLS:English Fluency (B2 High - C1)Dynamism, empathy, and attitude are vital in the processCommunicationActive ListeningProblem-solving
