**Position Summary**
Provides ongoing maintenance of process routes and instructions, design and maintenance of tooling for the hose assembly and chemical process area. Coordinates the analysis and transfer of new products, control/layout of rework routes and compliance with aerospace industry standards for the hose assembly area. Responsible for implementing engineering changes to our products under the direction and guidance of the engineering coordinator; as well as suggesting product changes based on continuous improvement initiatives.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop manufacturing routes based on the most recent review of Stratoflex product drawings.
- Support the Engineering Manager in the control of the rating of production equipment, new processes and new products based on the growth plans of the operation.
- Carry out the transfers of new products in their engineering analysis phase. Suggest necessary adaptations in our facilities for the success of transfers.
- Develop and maintain FMEA Proccesses
- Design, develop and maintain the tooling applicable to our production processes.
- ** Create, maintain, improve, and approve applicable process instructions and documents for **their** area**:
- ** Prepare and respond to customer and aerospace audits**.**:
- ** Ensure that manufacturing processes and procedures are designed in accordance with the quality guidelines of the aerospace industry. (AS9100 & NADCAP)**.**:
- ** Implement methodologies and initiatives (lean & Six Sigma) that improve manufacturing processes and ensure the **achievement of **main objectives of safety, quality, customer service, productivity and inventory.**

- Professional Engineering Studies (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.)
- 1 - 3 years as a Jr. Manufacturing, Product or Process Engineer
- Fluent English for business conversations.
