**Job Summary**:
The **Information Systems Project Manager,** under direct supervision of a Program Manager, manages up to medium-sized projects or phase(s) of a larger project.
The **Information Systems Project Manager** is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of the organization's strategic projects within the planned timeframe and scope.
This position requires a combination of technical proficiency, proven project management skills, strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the automotive finance industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks such as detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders.
- Work with the Information Systems Manager, Program Manager and stakeholders to ensure project goals are in line with business objectives.
- Conduct kick-off to start the project and review the overall project plan and gain consensus.
- Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- Manages changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget. This includes all organization business and external vendor activities as well.
- Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the organization.
- Ensure that project goals are achieved.
- Typically manages one or more projects that have:
- have a team size of up to 10 members
- are a duration from 6 to 12 months
- a moderately aggressive timeline
- a medium risk level assessment
- an enterprise span of impact to an organization
- includes many interfaces
- 1 -5 functional Disciplines / Stakeholders
- use existing means (tools, technology) to achieve goals with modified levels of innovation
- Utilizing Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Routinely communicate up to Sr Manager and regionally regarding the status of specific projects
- Drive project team to foresee risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, continuously assess and implement mitigations in order to minimize the impact of risks on the project.
- Review project proposals or plans to develop a time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and the assignment of available departmental resources to various project phases

**Years of Experience**:
- +5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT automotive and/or financial services.
- Prior experience in the automotive or financial services industry is a plus.

- Project management tools (i.e. Clarity, Jira, MS Project)
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
