We constantly develop our people, that are passionate doing their work in our fast-paced environment.**What do you bring to the team?**Güdel Mexico is looking for an entry-level Software Developer Engineer (PLC) to joining to the brand-new Software Hub located in Monterrey N.L.**Key Responsibilities**:- You are responsible for creating the PLC program for complex automation systems controlled by PLC controllers.- Program efficiently the sequence of operations in the machine in short periods of time.- Continuous development of this software is required.- Compliance with standards is important, especially in the area of machinery.- Specification, design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-performance control functions for all automation systems at Güdel.- Definition and implementation of the interface to the user interface (HMI) as well as to the actuators and sensors in the system.- Definition and implementation of interfaces to other third-party systems.- Close cooperation in the security area to guarantee the functional security of the system.- Determine and define the technologies to be used in the PLC area.- Guarantees adequate customer service in case (3rd level support).- Supports the product owner with technical queries from interested parties.- Establish and maintain the CI/CD.- Compliance with international standards, especially machinery safety standards.**Qualifications desired**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a University (computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) desired.- 1 year working in the automation field in an Engineering or Project Management related role or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.- 1 year of professional experience in commissioning, offering technical support on site.- 1 year of professional experience in the development of high-level language software in the automation environment.- Knowledge in motion control technology (eg Beckhoff, Bosch-Rexroth, Siemens)
