As a Jr. Software Engineer in the DataOps team you would be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing micro-services related to software monitoring, enhancing Spectrum-NET automation through software development best practices, maintain NIFI pipelines, and participate on day-to-day team code-reviews.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain new or existing Python base micro-services. Develop and design unit test for new and existing code. Participate in code reviews. Create documentation for new or existing micro-services. Work with Kibana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus & Grafana to integrate internal Spectrum Effect monitoring features. Automate repeated data management tasks to reduce toil. What you need to have: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Python. Basic Git versioning knowledge. Familiarity or interest in learning about Kibana and Elasticsearch or other monitoring tools. Basic Linux shell and command line experience.
