Eaton's AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Jr Tooling Engineer.
**What you'll do**:
**Primary Function**:
The Jr. Tooling Engineer is responsible for tool design/fabrication support for Tijuana Manufacturing Operations. Follows the Design and manufacturing Guidelines related to design, fabrication, inspection, and control of medium complexity 2D & 3D Fixtures, mylars and tools.
Supports minor changes on legacy production areas.
The position drives continuous improvement while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).
**Essential Functions**:
Designs easy to medium complexity Tooling based on a model or drawing information for Assembly, Trimming and Inspection tools including mylars in support of Manufacturing.
Gathers tooling requirements from manufacturing engineering and product drawings/specifications.
Provides Feedback to the Tool Room personnel for building and repairing tooling.
Developing blueprints for new tooling design as per client or project specifications.
Interpret internal customer requirements to ensure Tooling functionality.
Supports Tooling Design Reviews and Post Manufacturing Validation with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations.
Supports on reverse engineering activities (3D Scanning, Post processing cloud data, etc.).
Supports on additive manufacturing activities (3D print processes).
Gives supports on design controls by PLM system integration (ENOVIA).
Usage of 3D model software's to analyze existing tooling designs and improve them.

**Qualifications**:
- Degree Level in Mechanical/Design/Mechatronic/Aeronautics Engineering or related field.
- Graduated.
- Blueprint/drawing interpretation.
- Strong communication skills
- Professional working proficiency English level.
- Computer Skills, including ability to use all MS office software
- Basic GD&T knowledge
- Teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional team
**Skills**:
**Preferred Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position)**:
- At list one years of experience in manufacturing work specializing in tool design
- Full Familiar with GD&T (YM14.5)
- Blueprint reading
- CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks basic knowledge
- Mastercam, CNC programming skills are a plus
- Customer Focus (internal and external)
- Skill in effective communication
- Experience with Standard inspection techniques
