Your role at Clorox:
As a Jr.
Accountant within the Strategic Initiatives Corporate Accounting Group supporting US and LATAM Fixed Assets activities, you will play a key role in supporting cross-functional partners performing monthly and quarterly close responsibilities in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
In this role, you will:
- Perform monthly and quarterly fixed assets accounting close activities as asset shells creation, capitalizations, retirement and dispositions of fixed assets, etc.
- Provide support to internal customers within Fixed Assets Accounting.
- Coordinate Annual Physical Inventory.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Provide support in external and internal audit.
What we look for:
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement
- Advanced English skills
- Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in teams and with cross functional partners
- Proficient in PC Applications (Microsoft Office preferred)
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Bachelor degree
